55 rooms, a wide space dedicated to well-being, and particular attention paid to environmental sustainability: Nira Montana, a member of DesignHotels®, 5-star hotel in La Thuile, under the Nira brand.
“It is an undeniable fact that mountain residences are identified, in the collective imagination, with atmospheres that traditionally use natural materials in furniture and finishing elements”, explains Simone Del Portico, author of the project concept.
This same delicate balance has been maintained in the choice of complements and accessories, selected from among the most renowned brands of contemporary design, in the search for the perfect combination of sober lines and the evocative capacity of concepts typical of traditional Alpine interior design.
In this duo of evocation and design, the bathrooms sport Frozen washbasins designed by Simas’s technical office, completely square bathroom sculptures made with ultra-strict processes, and LFT Spazio toilet and bidet, designed by Terri Pecora for Simas. The feather in the cap of this new hotel is also the large spa: swimming-pool, sauna, Turkish bath, a vitarium for chromo therapy and aromatherapy, a cabin for Rasul baths, a massage room, relaxing lounges and even sections privately accessible to clients. To protect the natural scenario around it, particular care was dedicated to the environmental impact created by the new construction. The most qualifying element is the modern district heating system, connected to the thermal central station of La Thuile. The hotel also has solar panels, used to heat sanitary water. All faucets use aerators to limit water consumptions by mixing it with air. The recirculation and depuration system for the air indoors works at a constant temperature.
