SIMAS at ICFF. The typical Italian appeal.

The only one producer of sanitary wares within the Ceramics of Italy association (booth 2229-2325), organized by Confindustria Ceramica and ICE at the 31st ICFF New York edition, from Sunday the 19th of May to Wednesday the 22nd of May. SIMAS is going to propose a selection of products for the bathroom ambient strictly in compliance in compliance with the regulations, with a good value for money able to reach different targets.

“The Northern American market, which Simas knows since more than twenty years – underlines Marco Giuliani, the new General Manager – and which in 2018 noticed an annual turnover of 1,5 million euros with an increasing of 50% compared to the 2017. This happened thanks also to the partnership with AD WATERS started in 2017, marketer and distributor of the most important brands for bathroom and kitchens within the US territory, moreover as result to the big products stocking program at site for the “just in time” and retail deliveries. This result is strictly linked to the Simas investments on the official certifications: all the products included in the new catalogue for the American market, which is going to be presented at the same time of ICFF NY 2019, have been certified. Between the novelties, a selection of the new collection “Agile”, launched at ISH in Frankfurt last March, in addition to some classic style ranges, cult “ever green”, as Arcadia and Lante, in order to answer affirmatively to the necessities especially from the East Coast and Massachusetts”.

The increase of the numbers is perfectly in line with the Confindustria Ceramica’s statistics, from which appears that the USA is importing from Italy Sanitary wares for 15.2 million dollars (10.3 in 2017). The technological upgrade of the whole production process which Simas has undertaken, always 100% made in Italy, answered in an excellent way to the needs of a global increasing market, which today represents approximately the 47% of the turnover. The Northern American area represents for Simas the first foreign market for volumes and turnover.
